The project began with an online laboratory for emerging and mid-career artists and researchers exploring colonial legacies through architecture and built environments. Running from March to June 2023, the lab hosted 10 international participants. They examined themes such as colonialism, architecture, and political technologies and engaged with invited experts on colonial practices and decolonial approaches. The lab served as a critical think tank for the participants' projects, which were later showcased at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam.
